Liposomal Clodronate

Liposomal Clodronate is an artificial sphere composed of concentric phospholipid bilayers surrounded by an aqueous PBS (phosphate-buffered saline) solution containing clodronate. They are highly effective in removing macrophages from the body. Clodronate molecules are encapsulated in liposomes, which have superior activity, physical and chemical stability, and are convenient to use. Liposomal clodronate remained homogeneous after long-term storage in the refrigerator.
