Common Use | TRITC-Dextran-Lysinen is a dextran derivative carrying both free primary amines and free carboxylates as well as the fluorescent dye, Tetramethylrhodamine (TRITC). Lysine is a naturally occurring amino acid and popular moiety for conjugation and fixation in biochemistry and life sciences. TRITC dye has an excitation maximum at 550 nm and an emission maximum at 574 nm. The fluorescence is less dependent on pH than for fluorescein (FITC). TRITC-Dextran-Lysinen is a versatile tool for bioconjugation and fixation in living systems. |
