DescriptionCXCR1 (C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 1), also known as CD181, is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family and is encoded by the CXCR1 gene. CXCR1 is expressed on neutrophils, monocytes, macrophages, basophils, natural killer T cells, and interacts with high affinity with the primary ligand CXCL8 (interleukin 8 or IL8). By binding to IL8, CXCR1 transduces signals through a G protein-activated second messenger system, leading to neutrophil chemotaxis and activation. CXCR1 has also been shown to play an important role in the regulation of neuronal apoptosis. CXCR1 was found to be expressed on the cell surface of white blood cells and tumor cells, and this expression was independent of cancer stage. In this way, it has been identified as a potential therapeutic target. This product is designed as a tool for the delivery and expression of CXCR1 mRNA for research. The product leverages the lipid nanoparticle (LNP) technology platform for simple and efficient delivery of CXCR1 mRNA to a variety of mammalian cells in vitro and in vivo. The LNPs used are formulated with SM-102, DSPC, cholesterol and DMG-PEG2000 at an optimal molar concentration for a high rate of encapsulation and efficient mRNA delivery. CXCR1 protein is approximately 39 kD, consisting of 350 amino acids

It is important to minimize the time that the product spends at room temperature; after handling product during experiments, return immediately to ice.Upon receiving product, briefly pulse spin before opening to ensure product is at bottom of container; it is important not to spin for too long as this may rupture mRNA-LNP’s. Do not vortex. mRNA-LNP products should only be handled with certified RNAase-free reagents and consumables; use of filtered pipette tips is highly recommended
