Description | The kit contains iRGD-FAM target peptide molecules polymerized with PEG cholesterol. Cholesterol is an amphiphilic substance with both lipophilic and hydrophilic groups, but its lipophilicity is stronger than hydrophilicity, and it can be embedded between phospholipid molecules when interacting with phospholipids, connecting the target molecules to the external surface of exosomes and realizing the surface modification of exosomes. iRGD (CRGDKGPDC), a targeted peptide against integrin integrins, is commonly used in osteosarcoma where integrins are highly expressed, iRGD (CRGDKGPDC) is a targeting peptide for integrin, which is commonly used in the research of integrin-overexpressing tumors such as osteosarcoma, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, bladder cancer, melanoma, lung cancer, colon cancer, liver cancer, etc. FAM is a green fluorescent molecule, with excitation at 488 nm and emission at 525 nm, and by chemically connecting the three, the targeting peptide with green fluorescent markers can be attached to the surface of the exosome, and it is a remarkable modification tool for the modification of the surface of the exosome. |
Shelf-life | 1 year |
Technical Notes | 1. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Due to the inherent properties of the lipid-anchored targeting peptide, it will agglomerate with the prolongation of storage time, please use it as soon as possible after thawing. 2. The kit comes with non-sterile ultrafiltration tubes (there are no sterile ultrafiltration tubes in the market), it is recommended to add antibiotics or further filtration to remove bacteria when ultrafiltrating the product for subsequent experiments, and the ultrafiltration tubes can be stored at room temperature. 3. It is recommended to operate in the ultra-clean table to avoid the breeding of bacteria by opening the cap repeatedly. |
Composition | • iRGD-Lipid-Anchor Solution* 1 mg/1 mL/1 tube • Reaction Buffer* 5 mL/1 tube • Wash Buffer* 150 mL/1 bottle |
Technology Applications | 1. Co-incubation modification: Directly using co-incubation to connect targeted peptide molecules to obtain engineered exosomes with targeted effects. 2. Disease Direction: Research on the functional mechanism of functional molecule delivery in tumor diseases such as osteosarcoma, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, bladder cancer, melanoma, lung cancer, colon cancer, liver cancer, etc., where integrins are highly expressed. |
