Common Use | 15-Azido-4,7,10,13-tetraoxapentadecanoic acid (Azide-PEG4-acid, N3-PEG4-COOH) is a monodispersed heterobifunctional PEG reagent with an azide and a carboxyl group on the PEG ends. It is a useful crosslinking reagent with a PEG spacer. Azide can be used for molecule conjugation by click chemistry, and carboxyl can react with amine groups. Azide-PEG-carboxyl may be used to for bioconjugation, drug delivery, PEG hydrogel, crosslinker, and surface functionalization. |
