Common Use | Biotin-poly(ethylene glycol)-succinimidyl ester (BIO-PEG-NHS) is a linear bifunctional PEG derivative with a biotin group on reactive NHS ester. It is a useful crosslinking or bioconjugation reagent with a PEG spacer. Biotin can bind to avidin and streptavidin with high specificity and affinity and achieve non-covalent PEGylation; NHS can react with amine-containing ligands. |
