Common Use | N-(Acid-PEG2)-N-Bis(PEG2-propargyl) is a branched PEG derivative with two propargyl groups and a terminal carboxylic acids. The propargyl groups can be reacted with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed azide-alkyne Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The terminal carboxylic acid can be reacted with primary amino groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or DCC) to form a stable amide bond. |
