Common Use | N-(Azido-PEG3)-NH-PEG3-acid HCl salt is a branched PEG derivative with a terminal azide group and terminal caboxylic acid. The amino group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS ester, and carbonyls. The azide group enables PEGylation via Click Chemistry. The terminal carboxylic acid can be reacted with primary amino groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or DCC) to form a stable amide bond. |
