Common Use | Methyltetrazine/-PEG24-Acid is an amine-reactive reagent and is one of the most stable tetrazines commercially available containing a terminal carboxylic acid. The terminal carboxylic acid can be reacted with primary amine groups in the presence of of activators (e.g. EDC, or DCC) to form a stable amide bond. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases water-solubility and methyl group enhances the stability of Methyltetrazine-PEG4-Acid. |
