Common Use | TAMRA-PEG4-Methyltetrazine is a PEG derivative with a tetramethylrhodamine (TAMRA) dye and a tetrazine group. Rhodamine is a commonly used red fluorescent dye tracer in biology for staining cells, tissues, biomarkers or nanoparticles. It has peak fluorescence emission at 572-575 nm. Methyltetrazine reacts with TCO-containing compounds via a Inverse-Electron-Demand Diels-Alder reaction to form a stable covalent bond and does not require Cu-catalyst or elevated temperatures. |
