| Description | Type I bovine telocollagen solution for 2D coatings or 3D hydrogels. The kit comes with a neutralization solution for easy handling. Telocollagen will form firmer hydrogels than atelocollagen solutions with the same concentration. This product is for R&D use only and is not intended for human or other uses. Type I bovine telocollagen is derived from an acid extraction process yielding a telopeptide-intact collagen. The pro-peptide regions at both ends of the collagen chain, N- and C-telopeptide regions, are maintained. Each product includes a bottle of collagen solution accompanied with a bottle of pre-formulated neutralizing solution for the formation of a collagen gel. The type I bovine telocollagen is sterile filtered and is ideal for coating of surfaces, providing preparation of thin layers for culturing cells, or use as a solid gel. |
