Description | 10x CB-Buffer (pH 7.2) is a component of the Hydrogel system. It can be used in the Hydrogel system, where it provides a cell-compatible environment at pH 7.2, which is optimal for maintenance of viable cells. Hydrogels are generated by mixing the liquid components of the system at physiological conditions in the presence of cells, where thiol groups form stable thioether bonds with maleimide groups, which results in the formation of a gel with embedded cells. Prior to the crosslinking step, peptides (e.g. RGD Peptide) can be covalently attached to a portion of the maleimide groups of Maleimide-PVA or Maleimide-Dextran. Sufficient for 3 mL Hydroge. Intended for research use only. Not for use in human therapeutic or diagnostic applications. |
