Description	Studies have shown that genomic DNA and mitochondrial DNA have been detected in exosomes and other extracellular vesicles, in addition to containing different RNAs of parent cell origin (Thakur BK et al. 2014; Akiko Takahashi, et al. 2017; Kalhert et al. 2014), which can be used as disease (e.g., tumor) diagnostic markers and guidance and evaluation of clinical medication, etc. To assist researchers in the study and application of exosomal DNA, we developed a serum or plasma exosome extraction and DNA isolation kit. Serum or plasma exosome extraction and DNA isolation kit is including exosome extraction and subsequent DNA isolation and purification. Firstly, the optimized exosome extraction reagent is applied to enrich the exosomes in serum or plasma, and then the DNA in the exosomes is extracted by using the optimized lysate, and then the exosomal DNA can be purified and eluted conveniently and quickly through the adsorbent columns (Spin Columns), which can be used for the downstream applications directly, such as realtime PCR, mutation detection, NGS sequencing and microarray. microarray, etc. In addition, the purified DNA is from exosomal DNA and does not contain protein-bound circulating DNA from serum or plasma.
