Pyridinedithiopropionate (PDP) contains disulfides that react with sulfhydryl or thiolated molecules. Since more proteins are rich in sulfhydryl groups or are easily thiolated, liposomes containing PDP lipids are easy to conjugate proteins, antibodies, and other molecules containing the corresponding groups. PDP-functionalized liposomes can bind with maleimide-modified antibodies or thiol-modified antibodies. To this end, CD Bioparticles has developed PDP liposomes for use in various preclinical drug development studies.
CD Bioparticles manufactures and supplies PDP liposomes for the research of drug delivery. Contact us to find out how the PDP liposomes can help your work.
