DescriptionThe contents of extracellular membranous vesicles (including exosomes) are enriched with different types of RNAs (containing mRNAs and miRNAs), in which miRNAs play an important role in gene transcription and post-transcriptional regulation, and are closely related to the occurrence and development of diseases, therefore, certain exosomal miRNAs (exo-RNAs) can be used as new therapeutic targets and diagnostic biomarkers for diseases. Exosome RNA Isilation Kit (Exosome RNA Isolation Kit) uses phenol/guanidinium salt method to extract total RNA (containing mRNA and miRNA) from isolated exosomes, here exosome isolation methods can include ultracentrifugation, chemical precipitation, immunocapture, molecular size exclusion, etc., followed by Spin Columns method. Exosomal RNAs are conveniently and rapidly purified and eluted, and can be directly used for downstream applications, such as realtime RT-PCR, Northern Blotting, NGS sequencing and microarray.
