Description | Biotin and streptavidin have a very high affinity capacity for each other, the reaction is highly specialized, the dissociation constant for the formation of the complex is very small, irreversible reactivity, and high stability of the product, and the biotin-affinity system has become a general and universal research method in the biological field at present. In this kit, biotin is first coupled to the surface of exosomes by chemical linkage, and the free biotin is removed by SEC molecular exclusion column to obtain a large amount of pure biotinylated exosomes. The biotinylated exosomes are first bound to streptavidin (containing 4 biotin binding sites), then to biotin-tagged proteins, peptides, small molecules, and nucleic acids, and finally to protein, peptide, small molecule, and nucleic acid modification (targeting) on the exosome surface. The reaction conditions of this kit are mild, the reaction can occur under physiological conditions, the reaction specificity is good, there is no harmful by-products, does not damage the structure of the exosome membrane, and does not affect the biological activity and function of the exosome, which provides a highly efficient and versatile modification platform for the modification of the exosome surface. |
