DescriptionFolate receptor is a glycosylated phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-coupled protein. With the exception of individual tissues, folate receptor is expressed at very low levels in normal tissues, whereas it is highly expressed on the surface of many tumor cells, with good tumor tissue specificity. Folate receptor has a high affinity for folic acid and its derivatives. In recent years, the targeting application based on folate receptor is very extensive, which can be used to couple the imaging agent and therapeutic drug with folic acid, or modify folic acid on the surface of the drug carrier, for the imaging diagnosis and targeted therapy of tumor. In this kit, folic acid is directly coupled to exosome surface by covalent bonding through chemical linkage, and then the free folic acid is removed by SEC molecular exclusion column to obtain a large amount of pure folic acid-targeted exosomes. This kit has high folic acid modification efficiency, mild reaction conditions, which can be reacted under physiological conditions, good reaction specificity, no harmful by-products, does not damage the membrane structure of exosomes, and does not affect the biological activity and function of exosomes, which provides a highly efficient and simple means of modification for exosome targeting, and realizes the large-scale preparation of folic acid-targeted exosomes.
